Hopefully you can read my scribble writing on this. XD Just another Batman doodle, specifically from 'Batman: The Animated Series.' The greatest Batman cartoon based off the best Batman films (Batman and Batman Returns), and I watched it any second I could. While this isn't a favorite episode, the dialogue while all the villians are playing poker together is priceless. I loved this line. XD

Joker's sleeves are long because they're supposed to be straight jacket-like, by the way. ^^;

Also, I hated The Dark Knight. There, I said it. -Hides from fans-

Edgey: *leads ninja to castle* This is the castle, and the knight was sent away from the castle, so.... He should be anywhere but here.
Ninja: .....Amazing.

Oh, first person I've met who has said they hated it. Can I ask why?

And yeah, that cartoon rocked.

WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!!!

Aside from the weird 'wanna know how I got these scars' stories, the Joker blatantly toting himself as an 'agent of chaos' and a disturbing lack of laughing gas.

Doodle was pretty funny though...

Yeah, I'm not surprised. XD A lot of reasons, to be honest, a lot of little things. But the two main problems I had with it:

1) The Joker was not the Joker. Sure, he was creepy and derranged, but without his wacky weapons, constant jokes and chemical dip back story, he was nothing more then a guy in clown make-up.

2) I didn't once feel like what I was watching was Batman. It felt more like some overly long, big budgeted action/thriller with lots of bullets and explosions. I can't really explain this one...

"What?"
"I ask that of all my prey. I just like how it sounds."

I'm glad. XD Thanks! That's good to hear, since someone else apparently didn't like him. ^^;

Why what? Why didn't I like Dark Knight? XD

Well, the Joker was all wrong, that's one thing. And for the other, it just dind't feel like Batman. It was dark, brutal, realistic and gritty..but it just wasn't batman.

Thanks. ^^;

Actually, on defense on the whole "not the joker thing" there hasn't really been an explanation to his origin. But I would need to know what "Jokers" you've been exposed to so that I can properly say anything without sounding like I'm trying to bite your head off. I actually think he was the best Joker. This is the closest to the comics anyone has gotten. But we are all entitled to our opinion.

And on number two that's why I liked it. I didn't care about Batman( aside for the fact that he sounds so cute when he tries to sound all though by rasping his voice. It made me giggle the whole time). And I think( wishful thinking maybe?)that the reason it seems so chaotic and plot lacking is because that's the best way to tell a Joker story. The man has no order or sense to speak of, so why should a story he is in have any?( I think the plot they are going for is " the Joker is Fucking with you")

And sorry for the rant, just still "into" the whole thing I guess.

Well, I guess it would be true I'd think of whatever Joker I saw first/most as 'the' Joker. That said, the Joker(s) I grew up with was basically the 1989 Joker of Tim Burton's 'Batman.' That image got pretty hammered in by my obsessive wathcing of 'Batman: The Animated Series.' These Jokers were dark, derranged and dangerous, but somehow fun at the same time. So basically, that's what I consider to be 'the' Joker...which is sure is why I hated the Dark Knight version.

I know he's brutal in the comics, but doesn't he still have a pretty wacky personality?

Oh, well yeah, if you didn't care about Batman, then it won't matter if it was a Batman movie or not. XD I mean, as an action thriller, this movie's great. But as a Batman movie (What I wanted to see), it was awful.

Ah. Now I know what I am working with. Originally, not so much. He got a bit wacky after some rating thing, but if you beat one of Batman's sidekicks to death you're not all that funny. But he was funny( saids the person with a huge morbid sense of humor)in the movie, to me anyways. The whole magic trick thing cracked me up. I wonder if that kills you or if it even went all the way through.

And I meant I did care it was a Batman movie, it just to me it wasn't about Batman, that's what the first movie was for. This was all about the Joker. XD. Or at least, again, I am assuming. Bruce was also annoying.

What did piss me off was the whole Batman hating Joker right off the bat( haha, pun. Those two are close( psycho wise anyways) and the only time I've seen Batman loose it like that was in the animated series and even then he wasn't so vicious. He was collected and cool all the time dealing with the Joker.
